Say hello to Kevin Johnston, one of the three owners of Vilonia Golf Club — where golf meets technology and community!
Kevin helped bring our Garmin-powered indoor golf club to life with one goal in mind: to create a welcoming, high-quality golf experience right here in Vilonia — a spot that connects golfers from all over the area with just a short drive.
Here’s a quick look at Kevin’s take on the game:
Favorite sim courses: “The ones I don’t know about yet! I love finding hidden gems on social media and adding them to the sim. But I also really love playing local courses like Nutter’s Chapel and Foxwood.”
Go-to clubs in the sim: 5 wood, 7 iron, and 56° wedge
Favorite underused sim feature: “The course-style practice ranges — and the weekly tournaments where you face off against the same courses the PGA plays that week.”
Why start a golf business in Vilonia? “Originally, our idea shifted — but I kept coming back to this. Vilonia sits in a perfect spot to bring people together from 3 counties. Plus, it’s a chance to give back to the community.”
Best part so far? “Hands down, the people I’ve met. There are more golfers around here than you’d think — and probably even more waiting to try it. This place is for all of them.”

Jason’s not just a co-owner of Vilonia Golf Club — he’s a local business mind with a big heart for community and connection.
Why Vilonia Golf Club?
Jason wanted to create something that gives families, friends, and neighbors a place to hang out, have fun, and thrive — on their own time and at their own pace.
In his words:
“We needed a great place to ‘hang out’ and have a positive place for entertainment in our community.”

“Relaxed environment that is 100% chill — not stuffy or exclusive. Come have fun and learn in the process… we even have loaner clubs!”

Meet the Owners: Brian Bowlin
Brian Bowlin is one of the three owners behind Vilonia Golf Club — but he’s not just an investor. He’s a neighbor, a dad, and someone who cares deeply about what makes small towns like ours special.
When the idea of VGC came up, Brian saw more than a golf club — he saw an opportunity to build a space where people feel connected, welcomed, and at home.
In his words:
“It wasn’t just about golf; it was about creating a space where people could gather, laugh, compete, and relax.”
For Brian, Vilonia is more than where he lives — it’s where his family is growing, where community matters, and where he wants to give back in meaningful ways.
What makes Vilonia Golf Club different?
“We’re more than just a simulator. We’ve put thought into every detail — so it feels less like a business and more like a shared space.”
